Patina Interior Design is led by Stefanie and Martin Gastaldi, whose combined experience guides the studio’s creative direction, project execution, and continued growth across residential and hospitality design in Hawaiʻi.
Beyond
Interior Design.
Patina is a Maui-based interior design studio working across private residences, second homes and hospitality interiors throughout Hawaiʻi. Our approach brings creative direction together with construction knowledge, architectural lighting and the practical experience required to execute interiors across the islands.
From space planning, renovations and finishes to furniture selection, FF&E procurement, shipping and installation, we connect the details of each project into one coherent interior. Our work is guided by three principles: Function · Aesthetics · Experience.
A collaborative
design practice.
Patina combines a considered design perspective with the technical and logistical understanding that projects in Hawaiʻi require. Working closely with clients and project teams, we align materials, lighting, furnishings and documentation with the way a property will be lived in or operated. Climate, island freight, construction realities and local context are part of the design process—not afterthoughts.
