Bellingham Remodel

For this Bellingham lake home, Patina continued a design relationship established through an earlier project in Honolulu. The seven-bedroom residence was conceived as both a place for everyday living and a setting for the owner's extensive art collection.

The interior architecture includes a cantilevered fireplace column that emphasizes the height of the great room. Rich wood tones and quieter neutrals provide a backdrop for artwork throughout the house. A custom cascading chandelier from Bocci incorporates copper-mesh accents and hand-blown glass pendants, while a cast bronze and walnut dining table by Skram is paired with Phillips Collection seating.

Working alongside Zervas Architects and Dovetail Construction, the project brings together architectural detailing, lighting, furniture selection and an art-led residential interior.
