Eclectic Contemporary Villa
A Washington villa remodel shaped by an art collection, custom cabinetry, tailored drapery and contemporary furnishings.
This contemporary villa renovation in Washington was shaped by the homeowner's interest in art, expressive furniture and contrasting materials. Patina developed a layered interior in which the collection and the architecture could be considered together.
In the primary suite, white and black finishes create a graphic backdrop for custom drapery and handcrafted doors. Furniture selections include pieces by Moooi and Ligne Roset, chosen in relation to the owner's art collection.
The kitchen and bathrooms incorporate custom wood finishes and carefully planned cabinetry. The overall design connects the client's personal references with practical room layouts, architectural detailing and furniture curation.
