Maui Island Retreat

A Wailuku residence furnished with custom island craftsmanship, wallcoverings and a tailored sectional.

THE PROJECT

Designed for
island living.

For Maui Island Retreat in Wailuku, Patina worked with the owners to furnish a newly completed residence and refine selected finishes around their lifestyle. The project included living spaces and a guest ʻohana intended to welcome family visiting Maui.

Furniture selection and custom craftsmanship establish the character of the interior. Working with local artisans, the team incorporated a monkeypod table with inlaid brass, made using wood from a fallen tree on Hawaiʻi Island. Textured wallcoverings introduce color and depth, while a custom sectional from Nathan Anthony provides a focal point for the main living area.

The resulting furnishings combine personal expression, everyday comfort and materials connected to the islands.
