Modern Oasis

A Wailea home refurnishing and primary bath remodel with custom cabinetry, porcelain tile and outdoor teak furnishings.

THE PROJECT

Designed for
island living.

Modern Oasis is a residential remodel and refurnishing project in Wailea, Maui. Patina redesigned the primary bathroom layout and selected finishes and furnishings throughout the home to create spaces that feel calm, practical and connected to their setting.

In the primary bathroom, Porcelanosa tile introduces the texture and movement of sea glass and water. Dornbracht plumbing fixtures and custom mahogany cabinetry bring a considered level of detail to a compact plan. The bedrooms use quieter neutral tones, with mahogany cabinetry and trim continuing the material language.

For the outdoor areas, Patina selected teak furniture and tailored textiles suited to island living. The project brings together bathroom planning, millwork, furniture procurement and durable material choices as a cohesive interior.
