Wailea Elua Remodel and Refurnish

At Wailea Elua in South Maui, Patina developed a remodel and refurnishing approach for a corner vacation rental with views toward Molokini. The owners’ appreciation for modern furniture and colorful artwork guided the design, with the aim of creating a distinctive and welcoming interior for guests.

Midcentury-inspired furnishings and layered textures bring warmth to the living spaces, while bold patterns and locally sourced artwork contribute a strong sense of place. In the dining area, a tile feature draws from the colors of the Pacific Ocean. Together, the furniture, art and finishes give the rental a cohesive identity that responds to its Wailea setting.
