Wailea Getaway

Wailea Getaway is a South Maui vacation rental renovation focused on better space planning, updated materials and a cohesive experience for guests. Patina reworked the kitchen layout and refreshed both bathrooms, addressing the practical constraints of a compact interior.

The kitchen combines custom wood cabinetry with new tile, plumbing fixtures and surfaces. Walnut cabinetry and carefully selected countertops bring warmth and contrast to the bathrooms. Midcentury-inspired furnishings add character without compromising the space’s usability.

Throughout the project, details such as the crushed-coral-inspired backsplash connect the interior to its coastal location. The result balances functionality, a clearer layout and a distinct design identity for the property.
