West Maui Classic Beauty

For this Kapalua residence in West Maui, Patina refreshed the interiors through a coordinated palette of paint, wallcoverings, lighting and furnishings. The homeowners’ collection of Hawaiian art provided an important reference point for the material and color selections.

Greens, honey yellows and deeper blues introduce greater depth while responding to the surrounding landscape. Existing koa features and custom koa frames reinforce the character of the home. Furnishings, including McGuire pieces, were selected in dialogue with the art collection and the warmth of the woodwork.

Lighting from Hubbardton Forge and carefully chosen wall finishes support the updated atmosphere. The project demonstrates how a targeted interior refresh can bring new cohesion to an established residence without requiring a complete rebuild.
